Celebrating the 45 year career of Tom Leonard

After more than 45 years of dedicated service with McWane, Tom Leonard is retiring this month. His story is one marked by leadership, resilience and a genuine love for people.

Throughout his long career, Leonard worked at several McWane locations, building strong teams and stronger relationships wherever he went. His many years as the GM for Bibby in Canada showcased his steady leadership and his ability to bring out the best in those around him.

In 2023, Leonard transferred to Marshfield, MO during a pivotal moment for Tyler Coupling. The team was deep in the transition of relocating Anaco to Tyler Coupling, and the road ahead was anything but simple. Leonard arrived with calm confidence, guiding everyone through challenges with clarity, humor and heart. He had a remarkable way of connecting with people, from management to production workers, and he made every person feel valued. His leadership wasn’t just about strategy; it was about people, trust and building a team that felt like family.

Leonard brought joy to the workplace. He loved having fun, sharing stories and creating moments that strengthened the bonds within the team. His presence made an impact that will be felt in Marshfield for years to come.

While we are excited to see what this next chapter of life holds for him, Leonard will be greatly missed. His legacy of leadership, kindness and dedication will continue to shape Tyler Coupling long after his retirement.
